Geoff requests delayed to later in agenda
28th and US Grant: Owner cant afford the house payment, wants to divide into 3 lots, house stays on one, build on other 2. Many neighbors are protesting, questions to city. Seems to fit city code even if neighbors dont like it. Probably will happen. Geoff has lots of information, refer to him if any questions
May 7th, Open House re: the schools and park. The schools and parks want to change Land Use Rules and let schools and parks make their own rules; Geoff has the postcard that was mailed and there is a web site.
Notice of a Home Business with Mental Health Client 2622 NE 30th
New neighbor, Trenton Lipscomb, expressed interest in being the Web-Master. Katie is requesting that after we meet Trenton, that there be Board discussion about what we would WANT on the Web site.
Ron: Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods (NECN) of which we are a member, will be losing approximately 18% of budget in next fiscal year. This is due to significant reduction in city budget. The NECN has distributed the Small Grants (which will be cut) and acts as an incubator for programs such as the Tool Library. To fill in the gap, NECN is promoting Our Community Savings Card. Program is similar to a Local Merchant Coupon book, but a card rather than coupons. Cost is $29.00. NECNs share is $14.50.
Geoff: Motion to provide free advertisement in newsletter for this Fund Raiser
Second by Katie, Unanimously Approved
There will also be an article in the next newsletter

Not able to hold election because there is not a quorum of neighbors. We will accept the slate of officers tonight and will do neighborhood business accordingly. At the next general meeting we will ask for acceptance of the slate. Will proceed in best interest of organization.
Cori has been getting lots of email interest. Mailing of Clean ups came out, will also get posters to hang in neighborhood
